Beyond our blue sky

Beyond Our Blue Sky came into existence in the Summer of 2010. Their debut-album 'Long Ride Home' deals with a variety of topics as their integrous lyrics reveal: desires, worries, ignorance, questions and joy. A narrow path needs to be followed with the ultimate goal: to come home. Beyond Our Blue Sky could be categorized under the genre 'Acoustic', but Julian Goedhart felt that some songs needed more layers. Bram Oudenampsen, Harmen Heutink and Henk-Jan & Elvera Sleijster were willing to contribute with their instruments/vocals, making the album musically more interesting. So, the lyrics are accompanied by acoustic guitar, some tracks are intensified by Indie Rock-arrangements and dreamy melodies.
